The gradual reconstruction of the cooling chambers started in the year 1997. The latest constructional adaptations were finished in June 2000. During this period, four cooling chambers, each of the capacity of 1.000 m3, a deep-freezing tunnel, a manipulation corridor and modern receiving and dispatch facilities were gradually built.
These facilities allow for storing up to 1.400 tons of frozen goods in total. The cooling chambers are used for storage of frozen pork, beef and poultry including aquatic poultry.
The HACCP system, the recording system for the storeroom temperatures and for the temperatures during the transport are taken for granted at present.
The plant is completely ready for exporting to EU countries. |
